Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Marketing
Job Description: Law firm seeks an individual with strong administrative skills to work in a three-person marketing department. The position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detailoriented, and able to multi-task, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, has unflappable, excellent interpersonal skills and maintains composure, working well under pressure. Must be
comfortable interfacing with colleagues at all levels within the organization, take direction well, and be able to complete a high volume of work daily. Responsibilities include processing all charitable requests, which includes creating journal ads using the firm’s templates, logging all requests, sending payments to
organizations, etc. Administer the firm’s involvement in all local events, which in most cases, does not involve attending the events, but does involve handling all the logistics involved, which includes registering our personnel to attend, liaising with the organization, sending in payments, etc.
Writes and posts daily announcements on the firm’s Intranet, updates the firm’s website, attorney bios and practice group descriptions, puts together collateral materials as requested, contacts publications to obtain article reprints, updates records in firm’s contact management system, creates mailing labels,
sends out mailings, administers the firm’s tickets to sporting and other events, posts items on the firm’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages, assists attorneys with updating their LinkedIn pages, maintains the firm’s and individual attorneys’ listings on online directories, orders and maintains inventory of promotional
items, prepares PowerPoint presentations, supports the marketing department with additional projects and assignments as needed.
Must be available to work overtime as needed (early mornings and/or evenings) and have own transportation.
Education, training, experience:
Requires office experience working in an administrative or secretarial position. Strong MS Office
(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and writing skills.
